November 22 (SeeNews) - Turkey's Halkbank [BIST:HALKB] has applied with the Capital Markets Board of Turkey to issue 175-day bank bills worth 750 million Turkish lira ($372 million/276 million euro), the state-controlled bank said.
Halkbank will raise the offered amount to 1.0 billion lira if it receives higher demand, it said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
The planned issue will be the third tranche under the bank's programme to issue up to 3.0 billion lira in bonds.
