December 9 (SeeNews) - Turkey's Halkbank [BIST:HALKB] has signed an agreement for a 100 million euro ($137 million) loan with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to finance small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), it said Monday.
Halkbank will use the loan, to be obtained under the Greater Anatolia SME Loan Extension/B agreement, for on-lending to companies in 43 provinces in Turkey, the bank said in a bourse filing.
The five-year loan is partly guaranteed by the European Investment Fund (EIF)
