ANKARA (Turkey), February 27 (SeeNews) – Turkey’s economic confidence index saw a 0.5% month-on-month rise to 97.5 points in February, the country's statistical office said.
The rise was a result of increases in the real sector and the services confidence indices, TurkStat said in a statement on Thursday.
The real sector confidence indicator was up 0.3% month-on-month in February, reaching 106.7 points, whereas the services confidence indicator increased by 3.4% and became 98.5 in the review period.
The consumer confidence index fell by 2.7% to 57.3 points in February. The retail trade confidence index decreased by 2% to 102.9 points and the construction confidence index dropped 5.7% to 74.5 points in the month under review.
