July 22 (SeeNews) - Turkey's consumer confidence index decreased to 79.5 points in July from 81.7 points in the previous month, the country's statistical office said.
The index measured 82.3 points in July 2020.
The index measuring the current financial situation of households compared to the last 12 months fell to 57.9 points in July from 61.0 points in June, while the index tracking financial situation expectations for the next 12 months declined by 3.8% month-on-month to 79.8 points, TurkStat said in a statement earlier this week.
The general economic situation expectation index went down 3.3% on a monthly comparison basis to 83.2 points in July.
The index measuring the assessment on spending money on durable goods in the next 12 months edged up 0.1% on a monthly comparison basis to 97.0 points in the review month.
