September 2 (SeeNews) - The Turkish Competition Authority said it would restart an investigation into Turkish Airlines [BIST:THYAO] for using its dominant position in the market to restrict competition.
The competition authority said in a statement last week that it had re-evaluated the complaint filed by Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus Airlines [BIST:PGSUS] against Turkish Airlines after an administrative court in Ankara reversed the authority's first decision from December 30, 2011, rejecting the complaint.
Erste Group said in its Turkish Equity Daily on Monday that it expects the competition authority to rule in favour of Pegasus Airlines this time bur does not expect Turkish Airlines to face with material difficulties.
