Turkey's CLK Holding buys coal miner Evrensel Madencilik for 12.5 mln lira (4.7 mln euro)

October 9 (SeeNews) - Turkish diversified group CLK Holding [BIST:CLKHO] said on Wednesday it acquired all the shares of local coal miner Evrensel Madencilik A.S. for 12.5 million Turkish lira ($6.3 million/4.7 million euro).

The transaction is scheduled to be closed on October 25, CLK Holding said in a bourse filing.

The acquisition is in line with CLK Holding's strategy to invest in strategic sectors, it said when announcing its intention to take over the miner in September.
