July 27 (SeeNews) - Turkey's BDY Group Yatirim, active in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) wholesale, logistics, warehousing and mining sectors, has bought Russia's Petgaz, owner of an LPG terminal in Turkey, local media reported.
The acquisition will enable BDY Group to expand its logistics team and vehicle fleet, creating about a hundred jobs in logistics alone, Daily Sabah quoted Koral Guzelderen, senior manager at BDY Group, as saying on Sunday.

Guzelderen also said that the companies started negotiations over the takeover three months ago.
The price of the deal was not disclosed.
Petgaz's LPG terminal is located in the city of Dortyol in the Hatay province. The facility has a storage capacity of 64,150 cubic metres, making it the LPG terminal with the largest storage capacity in Turkey.
