September 17 (SeeNews) - The Turkish Competition Authority said it has approved the acquisition of a combined 55% stake in local online betting services provider Bilyoner Interaktif Hizmetler by Greece's Intralot SA Integrated Lottery Systems and Turkey's Tek Elektronik Yatirim Sanayi ve Ticaret.
Betting-technology company Intralot and electronics trader Tek Elektronik, which already own a combined 45% in Bilyoner, will acquire the remaining shares from Demir Toprak Ithalat ve Ihracat, Endustri Holding and Sinai ve Mali Yatirimlar, the regulator said in a statement on Monday.

Intralot holds a 25% stake in Bilyoner and Tek Elektronik owns 20%, according to information on Bilyoner's website.
Intralot said in August it had agreed to raise its stake in Bilyoner to 50.1% via the acquisition of additional 25.01% of the company for some 10 million euro ($13 million), pending regulatory approval.
