August 26 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourist arrivals in Turkey increased 10.68% to 19.1 million people in the first seven months of 2013, the country's tourism ministry said.
In July alone, the number of foreign visitors in Turkey rose 0.48% on the year to 4.6 million people, data from the ministry's June bulletin, released on Friday, showed. In June, Turkey's foreign visitors number rose 4.93% year-on-year.
Visitors from Russia had the largest share of 14.68% in the total number of foreign visitors to Turkey in the period from January through July, followed by visitors from Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Georgia, France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Iran, Sweden and others.
