ISTANBUL (Turkey), May 2 (SeeNews) – Turkey’s exports increased 9.5% to $53.4 billion (38.6 billion euro) in the first four months of 2014, the Turkish Exporters' Assembly, TIM, said.
In April alone, the country’s exports rose 11.5% year-on-year to $13.15 billion, TIM said in a statement on its website on Thursday.
The automotive sector registered the highest export volume of $2.97 billion in April, followed by the garment and apparel and the chemical sectors with exports of $1.55 billion and $1.48 billion, respectively.
