ANKARA (Turkey), March 27 (SeeNews) – Turkey’s economic confidence index decreased by 5.9% month-on-month to 91.8 points in March, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The fall was a result of decreases in the real sector, as well as the services and retail trade confidence indices, TurkStat said in a statement.
The real sector confidence indicator stands at 98.6 points in March, down 7.6% compared to February. The services confidence indicator decreased by 6% and became 92.5 in the same month. The retail trade confidence index fell 1.2% month-on-month to 101.7 points.
Consumer confidence index rose 1.7% to 58.2 points, while the construction confidence index increased by 3.7% and became 77.2 in the review period.
