September 16 (SeeNews) - Turkey's ministry of health said it had signed agreements with investors for the establishment of 14 city hospitals across the country under public private partnership (PPP).
These hospitals will be complexes which will also include a university of health sciences, congress centres, high technology and research and development centres, centres for social activities, health minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu said during the signing ceremony on Thursday, according to a statement on the website of the health ministry.
The health complexes will create 100,000 jobs, the minister said.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the first of the city hospital projects is scheduled for September 18 in Ankara's Bilkent district.
