March 27 (SeeNews) - Romanian power grid operator Transelectrica [BSE:TEL] led the decliners among the blue-chips on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Transelectrica was the top blue-chip decliner, losing 2.5% to 31.2 lei in 473,337 lei turnover.
The total equity turnover of the BVB fell to 15.7 million lei ($3.7 million/3.4 million euro) from 46 million lei on Friday.
Blue-chip investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] rose 0.46% to 0.8790 lei and posted the day's largest turnover of 4.59 million lei.
Blue-chip bank Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] stood to 2.7 lei in the day's second largest turnover of 3.51 million lei.
Romanian gas pipeline operator Transgaz [BSE:TGN] lost 0.53% to 372 lei in the day's third largest turnover of 1.72 million lei.
As of March 20, the main index BET BET and BET Total Return index (BET-TR) includes Romanian privately-owned medical services provider MedLife [BSE:M] and Conpet, taking the total number of companies to 12. Medlife weighs 0.92% of BET, while Conpet weighs 1.35%.
