SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 31 (SeeNews) – Deals with corporate bonds issued by Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4IDF] generated 72% of the daily turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,300 Industrial Holding Bulgaria changed hands at a price of 1,015.6 levs ($609,900/519,268 euro) apiece, generating a turnover of 1.3 million levs.
Total trading turnover on the BSE rose to 1.8 million levs on Monday from 755,000 levs on Friday.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, closing 2.51% higher at 1.715 levs in a trading volume of 14,761 shares.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.59% to 715.21 points, after edging down by 0.09% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, increased 0.70% to 135.52 points, after adding 0.40% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, fell 0.28% to 115.01 points on Monday. On Friday, the index increased 0.73%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.73% to 548.70 points, after rising 0.17% on Friday.
Diversified conglomerate Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue-chip on Monday, as 17,135 of the company’s shares changed hands at an average price of 1.709 levs.
Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] led the blue-chip decliners on Monday, closing 1.56% lower at 1.26 levs.
