LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), June 19 (SeeNews) - Total turnover on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) increased to 1.87 million euro ($2.09 million) on Monday from 1.02 million on Friday boosted by trading in Petrol [LJE:PETG].
Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] generated the largest turnover in Monday's trading, of 585,000 euro, as its shares ticked up 0.03% to a closing price of 361,300.
Krka [LJE:KRKG] had the second-biggest turnover, of 451,240 euro, as 160,000 euro were generated in a single block deal. The drug producer's shares closed at 54 euro, up 0.88%.
Re-insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] also contributed to the turnover increase, generating 230,180 euro, including 210,000 euro in a single block deal. Sava Re's shares added 0.86% to a closing price 15.29 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ticked up 0.09% to 784.91 points, after dropping 0.25% on Friday.
Logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] led the blue-chip gainers, rising 2.60% to 1.97 euro in a modest turnover of 2,240 euro.
The shares of household appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] fell the most, by 2.16% to 6.213 euro. The company had a slim turnover of 3,570 euro.
