May 17 (SeeNews) - Total foreign remittances to Serbia increased by 11.6% year-on-year to 565 million euro ($588 million) in the first two months of 2022, central bank data shows.
The remittances of citizens working abroad went up by 18.1% year-on-year in the first two months of 2022 to 389 million euro, according to figures published by the central bank in a balance of payments report.
The flow of foreign remittances into Serbia increased to 3.635 billion euro in 2021 from 3.121 billion euro in 2020.
