September 22 (SeeNews) - The municipality of the Albanian capital Tirana said on Friday it opened two tender procedures for the supply of materials needed for the maintenance and upgrade of the urban and rural street lighting network with estimated budgets totalling 150 million leks ($1.5 million/1.4 million euro).
Of the total, an estimated 79 million leks are offered for the supply with materials to improve street lighting, involving smart systems for streetlight fixtures adaptable to existing monitoring systems, tender documents on the public procurement portal show.
An estimated 70 million leks is budgeted for the supply with street lighting materials to replace existing material that has caused repetitive issues, involving lamps, chokes, control parts, cable infrastructure.
All materials should be delivered within a year.
Potential bidders of both supply tender procedures must submit their offers by October 23.
