November 24 (SeeNews) - St. George university hospital in Plovdiv said on Wednesday it has awarded Bulgarian companies Interagro-90, Bulmed 2000 and Sopharma Trading deals for the supply of medical equipment worth a total of 5.3 million levs ($3 million/2.7 million euro).
The Interagro-90 contract is worth 2.6 million levs, while the contracts with Bulmed 2000 and Sopharma Trading are worth 2 million levs and 709,225 levs, respectively, the hospital said in a notice.
The deals envisage the delivery of pacemakers over a three-year period.
Interagro-90 is an official distributor of US-based medical technology company Medtronic.
Sofia-based Bulmed 2000, established in 1996, is active in the supply of cardiac equipment and consumables.
Sopharma Trading is a unit of Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma.
