August 2 (SeeNews) - Romania's road infrastructure company CNAIR has received three bids in a tender for the preparation of a feasibility study and technical project for the construction of a motorway linking Brasov to Bacau, in central Romania, it said on Friday.
Bids were placed by Spain's Ingenieria Especializada Obra Civil e Industrial, Romania's TPF Inginerie and a consortium of Romanian companies Search Corporation and Primacons Group, CNAIR said in a notice posted on its website.
The estimated value of the contract is 29.8 million lei ($7 million/6.3 million euro) excluding value-added tax (VAT), and its duration is 30 months, CNAIR said.
The Brasov-Bacau motorway will connect the A3 and A7 motorways in Romania and is planned to be 158 kilometres long.
