April 24 (SeeNews) - Trading in shares of Texim Bank [BUL:5CP] and Velgraf Asset Management contributed 60% of Monday's total turnover on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
Total stock trading turnover rose to 3.132 million levs ($1.73 million/ 1.6 million euro) on Monday, from 327,700 levs on Friday.
Texim Bank generated 933,000 levs in turnover as 366,000 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 2.55 levs.
Real estate company Velgraf Asset Management contributed 948,600 levs to Monday's turnover as 301,079 of its shares traded at an average price of 3.151 levs.
The BSE's blue-chip SOFIX index edged down 0.01% to 657.93 points, after adding 0.67% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, added 0.25% to 129.87 points, after rising by 0.84% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, fell 0.07% to 108.75 points on Monday after it shed 0.17% in the previous session.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.15% to 516.07 points, after closing 0.44% higher on Friday.
Industrial Capital Holding [BUL:4I8] led the list of blue-chip decliners on the BSE on Monday, closing at 4.503 levs, down 2.87%, as 25 of its shares changed hands.
Real estate investment trust (REIT) Advance Terrafund [BUL:6A6] was the most traded blue-chip company on Monday, as 70,177 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 2.120 levs.
Industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] was the top blue-chip gainer on Monday, rising by 3.14% to 8.210 levs as 4,902 of its shares were traded.
