SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 7 (SeeNews) – A total of 25 bids have been submitted in a 14.8 million levs ($8.1 million/7.6 million euro) tender for the construction of a waste water treatment plant (WTPP) and adjacent infrastructure in Aytos, in southeastern Bulgaria, the municipality said.
The WTPP contract has an indicative value of 12.9 million levs, while the indicative value of the infrastructure contract is 1.9 million levs, the municipality said in a statement posted on its website on Monday.
It did not elaborate whether all candidates had placed bids for both contracts.
The deadline for the completion of construction works is set at two years for both contracts, the municipality said earlier. Bids will be ranked according to the offered price, the time needed to draft the construction project and the date of completion of construction works.
The project will be financed from the EU's 2014-2020 Operational Programme Environment and Bulgarian co-financing.
