October 28 (SeeNews) - Telenor Bulgaria, part of Norwegian-based telecommunications group Telenor, posted on Wednesday earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 186 million levs ($105.1 million/95.1 million euro) for the first nine months of 2015, unchanged from a year earlier.
Telenor Bulgaria generated total revenues of 473 million levs in the nine months through September, up by 0.6% as compared to the same period a year earlier, the company said in a press release.
In the third quarter alone, EBITDA fell 2.9% compared to same quarter in 2014.
Telenor Bulgaria's number of subscriptions fell to 3,762 in January-September from 4,047 a year earlier.
Telenor acquired Bulgarian mobile operator Globul from Greece's OTE for 717 million euro in a deal which was finalised on July 31, 2013. In November 2014 Globul was rebranded Telenor Bulgaria.
