February 3 (SeeNews) - Online betting operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BSE:TIB] said on Friday that it acquired 400,000 new shares in its Peruvian subsidiary TIB Consult SAC at a price of 1 Peruvian sol ($0.26/0.24 euro) each to increase the unit's capital.
TIB Consult's capital increase was fully subscribed by Telematic Interactive Bulgaria, bringing Telematic's stake in the company's equity capital to more than 99.99%, the betting operator said in response to a SeeNews enquiry. The Peruvian unit's capital is now divided into 401,000 shares with a par value of 1 Peruvian sol apiece.
TIB Consult SAC raised its capital in a drive to develop its operations, including payments related to its online betting activity in Peru, according to a bourse filing.
Last month, Telematic Interactive Bulgaria said that it acquired 99.9% of the share capital of TIB Consult to streamline its online betting activities in the South American country.
Shares in Telematic Interactive last traded at 15.55 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
