October 17 (SeeNews) - State-owned Telekom Srbija said it has opened a store in Zurich, its first in Switzerland, as part of an expansion which will also include Germany and the U.S.
’’The store being inaugurated here today is just the first in a row,” Telekom Srbija country manager for Switzerland, Mirza Tahirovic, said, as quoted in a company press release issued last week.
Telekom Srbija Group plans to expand to Germany before the end of 2022, and then to the U.S. later on, the company added.
In Switzerland, the company will operate under the name MTEL Switzerland and will offer mobile and television services.
Telekom Srbija has operations in Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The company recorded a profit of 13.1 billion dinars ($121.3 million/111.2 million euro) in 2021.
