January 30 (SeeNews) - Telekom Slovenije said on Tuesday its unit for telecommunications equipment supplies, GVO, has acquired a 100% shareholding interest in telecommunications infrastructure company Infratel from an undisclosed seller.
"As soon as all suspensive conditions specified in the acquisition agreement were met, the procedures for transferring ownership were initiated and on January 24, 2018, the change of ownership was entered into the court register," Telekom Slovenije said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

Following the transaction Infratel will become a part of Telekom Slovenije Group.
Its acquisition makes GVO the owner of a part of the telecommunications network in commercial grey areas of the municipalities of Komen, Sezana, Hrpelje–Kozina and Ilirska Bistrica.
GVO designs, constructs and maintains telecommunications and electro energetic cable networks.
