August 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's biggest telecommunications operator - state-controlled Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], said on Thursday its consolidated net profit rose 10% on the year to 23.4 million euro ($23.4 million) in the first half of 2022.
The company's consolidated operating revenue fell 1% on the year to 316.6 million euro in January-June, Telekom Slovenije said in a first-half financial report filed with the Ljubljana bourse.
First-quarter EBITDA fell 1% on an annual comparison basis at 112.2 million euro, while EBIT went up 6% to 31.1 million euro.
Return on sales increased to 9.9% in the first six months of the current year from 9.7% a year earlier.
Net financial debt went up to 422 million euro from 399 million euro.
The consolidated statement includes the results of Telekom Slovenije d.d ., its Slovenian companies Avtenta, GVO, Planet TV, Soline, TSinpo, TSmedia, and its subsidiary in Kosovo - IPKO.
