November 10 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's biggest telecommunications operator - state-controlled Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], has recorded a consolidated net profit of 39.0 million euro ($39.0 million) in the first nine months of 2022, up 9% on the year, the company said on Thursday.
The telecommunications operator's consolidated operating revenue amounted 490.3 million euro in January-September, up from 489.7 million euro in the like period of last year, Telekom Slovenije said in a first-quarter financial report filed with the Ljubljana bourse.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew on an annual comparison basis to 174.8 million euro from 174.0 million euro, while EBIT went up 8% to 51.1 million euro.
EBITDA margin increased to 36.0% in the first nine months of the current year from 35.7% a year earlier.
Net financial debt totalled 407.4 million euro in end-September, up 2% year-on-year.
The consolidated statement includes the results of Telekom Slovenije d.d ., its Slovenian companies Avtenta, GVO, Planet TV, Soline, TSinpo, TSmedia, and its subsidiary in Kosovo - IPKO.
