February 16 (SeeNews) - Telekom Slovenije said on Friday it will become the sole owner of Kosovo-based IPKO Telecommunications LLC, after agreeing to buy the remaining minority stake in the company it does not already own.
Based on the sale and purchase agreement concluded in December 2009 between IPKO's minority shareholders and Telekom Slovenije, which specified minority owners’ withdrawal from the company, Telekom Slovenije concluded a contract on purchasing the remaining 6.89% stake in the company on Friday, it said in a Ljubljana bourse filing.

"Procedures for entering the new ownership structure in the register will start when the consideration is paid, and Telekom Slovenije, which has held a 93.11% stake so far, will become the sole owner of IPKO Telecommunications LLC," it noted.
IPKO Telecommunications LLC is part of the Telekom Slovenije Group, and the leading provider of broadband connections and second largest mobile provider in Kosovo.
