January 23 (SeeNews) - Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] said it has launched a process for increasing the capital of its wholly-owned local subsidiary Planet TV through the entry of a new partner into the shareholding structure.
The company's supervisory board was informed about the start of the process on January 22, Telekom Slovenije said in a filing with the Ljubljana bourse on Wednesday.
It provided no further details on the planned capital hike.
In December, Telekom Slovenije said it became the sole owner of broadcaster Antenna TV SL, after acquiring the 34% stake previosuly held by Antenna Slovenia B.V. Back then, Telekom Slovenije also changed the company's name from Antenna TV SL to Planet TV.
Telekom Slovenije shares traded at 59.0 euro ($65.4) by 12:10 CET on Thursday, after closing at 59.4 euro on Wednesday.
