LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), May 12 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's biggest telecommunications operator - state-controlled Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], said on Thursday its consolidated net profit rose 23% on the year to 12 million euro ($12.7 million) in the first quarter of 2022.
The company's consolidated operating revenue fell 4% on the year to 151.2 million euro in January-March, Telekom Slovenije said in a first-quarter financial report filed with the Ljubljana bourse.
First-quarter EBITDA grew 2% on an annual comparison basis at 56.7 million euro, while EBIT went up 15% to 16.1 million euro.
Return on sales increased to 10.7% in the first three months of the current year from 8.9% a year earlier.
Net financial debt remained flat at 399.9 million euro at end-March.
The consolidated statement includes the results of Telekom Slovenije d.d ., its Slovenian companies Avtenta, GVO, Planet TV, Soline, TSinpo, TSmedia, and its subsidiary in Kosovo - IPKO.
