March 30 (SeeNews) - The main share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell on Monday, as Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] posted the biggest losses among the blue chips, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed Monday's session 0.51% lower at 723.11 points.
Telekom Slovenije shares lost 3.4% to a closing price of 42.6 euro.
Other notable decliners among blue chips were port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] and insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG], which erased 2.42% and 1.91%, respectively.
Trade in shares in pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated nearly half of the day's trading turnover. Total regulated market turnover amounted to just over 800,000 euro ($882,000) on Monday, while trade in Krka shares generated some 373,000 euro.
