July 24 (SeeNews) - Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Telekom Slovenije closed 2.27% higher at 63.0 euro.
Earlier on Wednesday, Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] said its consolidated net profit increased 35% year-on-year in the first half of 2019, reaching 19.6 million euro. It also said it plans to distribute a gross dividend of 4.5 euro ($5.0) per share for 2018.
Hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] fell the most among the blue-chip companies on Wednesday, closing 1.27% lower at 15.5 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 870.76 points, up 0.26%.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover rose to 1.48 million euro ($1.7 million) from 689,430 euro on Tuesday, as pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the bulk – 947,720 euro.
