December 7 (SeeNews) - Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] generated the highest trading turnover, of 2.96 million euro ($3.2 million), on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
The telecommunications operator was also the top gainer among the blue-chip companies, closing 2.33% higher at 72 euro, as 41,674 shares changed hands during the trading session. The number of shares traded represents 0.64% of all shares issued.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, edged up 0.75%, closing at 708.65 points after ticking up 0.03%.
Only the share price of fuel retailer Petrol declined, falling 0.55% to a close price of 315.25 euro.
The total turnover jumped to 4.2 million euro from 1.3 milllion euro on Tuesday.
