LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 9 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip SBITOP index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell 0.11% to 847.54 points on Monday, hit by a drop in the share price of Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], bourse data showed.
Telekom Slovenije’s shares closed 2.52% lower at 62.0 euro.
Logistics group Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] posted the biggest gains among the blue chips on Monday, recovering from the losses it suffered in the previous session. Slovenia's competition authority AVK said last week it gave the green light to state-owned postal operator Posta Slovenije to acquire Intereuropa.
Intereuropa's shares closed at 2.6 euro, up 2.36% on Monday. On Friday, they fell 2.31% to 2.54 euro.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover rose to 715,210 euro ($788,370) on Monday from 471,120 euro on Friday.
Trading in the shares of pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] formed the largest portion of LJSE's turnover on Monday, of 315,660 euro.
