LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 1 (SeeNews) – Telekom Slovenije said it has concluded the sale of its 100% stake in its Bosnian unit Blicnet to Bosnian company Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske.
“The purchase fee significantly exceeds the book value of the investment. Telekom Slovenije will announce the total value of the purchase fee after determining the adjustment figures,” the Slovenian telco said late on Thursday in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

In October, Telekom Slovenije and Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske signed an agreement on the sale of Blicnet.
“The sale of Blicnet is in accord with Telekom Slovenije Group’s adopted 2018-2022 Strategic Business Plan,” the Slovenian company said.
Blicnet is an integrated provider of mobile and fixed telephony services, broadband internet, cable and digital TV, as well as a network operator and system integrator.
Banja Luka-based Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske, majority-owned by Serbian state-controlled Telekom Srbija, provides solutions for private and business customers in Bosnia's Serb Republic entity.
The Serb Republic is one of two entities that from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Federation.
