The unit's total revenue increased 10.5% to 116.2 million euro in the first half as a result of higher mobile service revenues following the successful introduction of flat tariffs in June 2017, Telekom Austria said in an interim financial statement.

The number of wireless subscribers increased by 0.7% year-on-year to 2.173 million at end-June.
Telekom Austria's main competitors are Telenor Serbia, a unit of Norway's Telenor, and state-owned MTS.
