September 21 (SeeNews) - TCB Technical Components Bulgaria, a subsidiary of German technical control systems developer EbV Elektronikbau und Vertirebs, is investing more than 14 million levs ($7.6 million/7.2 million euro) in a project to expand its production and warehouse operations in Vidin, northwestern Bulgaria, the state investment agency said.
The expansion will create more than 330 new jobs, becoming the largest employer in the Vidin region, InvestBulgaria, a governmental organisation established to attract investment to Bulgaria, said in a press release on Wednesday.
TCB Bulgaria makes technical control systems and components for heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment exclusively for export. Its products are used in the medical and automotive sectors, among others.
TCB Bulgaria began production at the plant in 2008 with 30 staff.
