April 29 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Wednesday, with shipping company Tankerska Next Generation [ZSE:TPNG] leading the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Tankerska's shares dropped 8.33% to close at 55 kuna on Wednesday.
Diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] paced the blue-chip gainers after losing the most on Tuesday. It gained 0.42% on Wednesday to a close of 2.37 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the highest turnover, of 2.2 million kuna. It closed 0.3% higher at 166.50 kuna.
The ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 10.7 million kuna ($1.5 million/1.4 million euro) on Wednesday, from 9.7 million kuna on Tuesday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index fell 1.51% to 1,558.38 after advancing 0.53% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.98% to 960.77 on Wednesday after growing 0.40% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.69% at 112.2999.
