SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), September 17 (SeeNews) – The majority owner of confectionery maker Swisslion, Rodoljub Draskovic, is set to build a resort complex near Bosnia’s southernmost city of Trebinje, local media reported on Thursday.
The Grad Sunca resort will comprise a water park, sports centre and hotels on 80,000 sq m of land, broadcaster ATV reported.
The Swisslion owner has launched the incorporation of a new company, Swisslion Grande, with an initial capital of 20 million marka ($11.6 million/10.2 million euro), which will be in charge of this infrastructure project, the media reported, quoting the financial director of Swisslion, Tomo Bokic.
Draskovic will acquire the land necessary for his project from the city authorities which have vowed to help resolve any property issues and to launch a tender for its sale.
The entire Grad Sunca resort should be completed by June 2018, while its water park is expected to open its doors for visitors in mid-2016.
