June 10 (SeeNews) - Swedish state-owned power transmission system operator Svenska Kraftnat has picked the offer of Croatia's Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] for the construction of a 400 kV transmission line, Dalekovod said on Monday.
The project includes dismantling of an existing 220 kV line and construction of a 400 kV line in the corridor between substations Snosatra in Stockholm and Ekudden in Huddinge municipality, the power transmission equipment manufacturer said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The value of construction works, to be executed by 2021, is about 21 million euro ($23.7 million) and the contract will be signed after the final investment decision has been confirmed by Svenska Kraftnat, Dalekovod said.
In November, Dalekovod was selected as the best bidder in a 3 million euro tender launched by Svenska Kraftnat for the reconstruction of 400 kV lines around the Hedenlund substation.
Dalekovod swung to consolidated net profit of 11.9 million kuna ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro) in the first three months of 2019, from a net loss of 21.9 million kuna in the like period of last year.
