December 7 (SeeNews) - Cellulose producer Svilosa [BUL:3MZ] saw its share price rise most among all companies listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Friday, by 5.88%, after the country's financial regulator allowed the publication of an improved buyout offer by A.R.U.S. Holding for the 6.47% stake in Svilosa it does not currently own.
Svilosa shares ended Friday's trading session at 5.40 levs, just below A.R.U.S. Holding's offered price of 5.5 levs per share.
Last month, the regulator suspended A.R.U.S. Holding's initial bid, priced at 4.7 levs per share.
Total trading turnover on the regulated market of the Sofia bourse grew nearly tenfold to 3.2 million levs ($1.9 million/1.6 million euro) on Friday, from 332,000 levs in the preceding trading session.
Turnover was mainly boosted by the first deals in Bulgarian Receivables Fund SPE [BUL:9BH] shares, since the company was admitted to trading on the Sofia bourse in November. A total of 1.3 million shares in the special purpose entity changed hands in 10 deals priced at 1.02 levs apiece. The 1.3 million shares are equal to 87% of the company's capital.

Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] rose most among the 15 blue chips on the Sofia bourse, gaining 2.76% to 3.72 levs. Since the start of the week the company started repurchasing own shares again, after being unable to do so in the past two months, due to the then forthcoming publication of its individual and consolidated financial reports.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, rose 0.46% to 116.17 points, backed by the increase in Svilosa's share price.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.39% to 493.65 points. The increase was supported by shares in the Bulgarian Stock Exchange operator, which gained 5.71% to 5.5 levs in a single deal for just 17 shares.
The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts (REITs), ended unchanged at 117.80 points, remaining just 0.61% away from an all-time high.
