May 10 (SeeNews) - Fast food restaurant chain Subway Bulgaria sees potential for opening new restaurants in the cities of Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad, Russe and Veliko Tarnovo, the company's CEO said on Wednesday.
"Non-traditional locations such as airports and filling stations are also attractive for the further development of the chain in Bulgaria," Ivan Todorov, CEO of Subway for Bulgaria and Romania, told SeeNews.
"The company is now offering investors the opportunity to act as 'passive' franchise partners in order to expand their portfolio without been involved in the restaurant's daily operations," the CEO also said.
Subway manages 40 restaurants in Bulgaria, 11 of which are operating seasonally.
