BELGRADE (Serbia), July 19 (SeeNews) – Austrian civil engineering group Strabag will build two residential properties under a deal it has signed with Serbia's Belgrade Waterfront, the developer of the eponymous real estate project in the capital city, Belgrade Waterfront said on Friday.
The two buildings, BW Arcadia and BW Aurora, will each have 244 apartments of different sizes surrounded by greenery, plus underground garages, a playground for children and round-the-clock security, Belgrade Waterfront said in an e-mailed statement.
"We are pleased to entrust their construction to Strabag, in whose quality and efficiency we have already been assured during the work on the residential buildings BW Vista, in which accommodation has already begun, and BW Parkview, where the works are being finalised," Nikola Nedeljkovic, general manager of Belgrade Waterfront, said.
The Belgrade Waterfront project should see the development of around 177 ha of land on the right bank of the Sava river into a mixed-use residential, office and retail scheme, offering 5,700 housing units, 2,200 hotel rooms and capacity to accommodate 12,700 office population.
