February 26 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Wednesday, as diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] led the blue-chip gainers, after falling the most in the previous trading session, ZSE data showed by 1430 CET.
Djuro Djakovic's shares rose 14.89% to 4.09 kuna.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] paced the blue-chip losers, as its shares fell 1.36% to 290 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] recorded the highest turnover among the blue chips on Wednesday, for a second straight trading day, of 4.5 million kuna. The company's shares closed 0.57% higher at 175.5 kuna.
Tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] boosted Wednesday's total trading turnover with a block transaction of 2 million kuna. The company's shares traded 2.09% higher at 34.20 kuna.
By 1430 CET on Wednesday, ZSE's total trading turnover has fallen to 27.8 million kuna ($4.1 million/3.7 million euro) from 45.9 million kuna on Tuesday.
The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 0.80% to 1,911.15 points after losing 1.37% on Tuesday.
The narrower of ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.83% to 1,143.70 after shedding 1.34% on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index remained flat at 115.5400.
