SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 24 (SeeNews) – Industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] was the top blue-chip decliner on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Stara Planina Hold shares closed 3.82% lower at 8.31 levs ($5.01/4.25 euro) in a trading volume of 100 units.
Total trading turnover on the Sofia bourse fell to 329,648 levs on Thursday from 435,100 levs on Wednesday.
Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue chip on Thursday, as 28,248 of the company’s shares changed hands at an average price of 1.931 levs.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell 0.63% to 718.44 points, after rising 0.47% on Wednesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, decreased 0.47% to 137.04 points, after adding by 0.41% on Wednesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, edged up 0.01% to 117.23 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index closed 0.38% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.53% to 562.21 points, after rising 0.19% on Wednesday.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] led blue-chip gainers on Thursday, closing 0.78% higher at 1.94 levs.
