SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 30 (SeeNews) – Industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Stara Planina Hold closed 3.25% higher at 8.069 levs ($4.79/4.1 euro) in a trading volume of 950 shares.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose by 0.64% to 669.99 points on Monday after a 1.50% increase on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, closed 0.90% higher at 131.14 points, after adding 1.29% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, edged down 0.17% to 113.50 points on Monday. On Friday, the index closed 0.04% higher.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.68% to 548.03 points, following a 1.25% increase on Friday.
Trading turnover on BSE’s regulated market fell to 797,000 levs on Monday from 1.4 million levs on Friday.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the most traded blue chip on Monday, as 69,132 of the company’s shares changed hands at an average price of 4.185 levs.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] was the top blue-chip decliner on Monday, closing 3.13% lower at 0.930 levs.
