May 23 (SeeNews) - Diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] led the blue-chip gainers on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
Shares of Stara Planina Hold closed 3.49% higher at 8.000 levs ($4.6/4.1 euro), in a trading volume of 1,795 units on Tuesday. The company said earlier on Tuesday it will pay a gross dividend of 0.217 levs per share, up from 0.206 levs per share it paid out last year.
Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] led the blue-chip decliners on the BSE on Tuesday, closing 1.54% lower at 64.001 levs as 18 of its shares changed hands. On Tuesday, Albena said it will propose no dividend payout for 2016.
Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the most traded blue-chip company on Tuesday, as 2 million of its shares changed hands at an average price of 0.834 levs. On Monday, Eurohold Bulgaria said its consolidated net profit rose to 1.6 million levs in the first quarter of 2017, from 21,000 levs in the like period of 2016.
BSE's total trading turnover rose to 2.67 million levs on Monday, from 306,353 levs on Monday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose by 0.88% to 660.74 points, after falling 0.58% on Monday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, added 0.35% to 130.91 points, following a decrease of 0.13% on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, increased by 0.36% to 110.46 points. On Monday, the index decreased by 0.42%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew by 0.29% to 516.52 points, after falling by 0.16% on Monday.
