July 24 (SeeNews) - Serbian state-owned rolling stock maintenance firm Srbija Voz will invite tenders to expand and upgrade Zemun passenger train station in the second half of the year, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Monday.
Srbija Voz intends using the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD for the project, which is valued at 47 million euro ($54.7 million), the Bank said in a statement.
The winning contractor will be expected to build all required structures, tracks, facilities, equipment and installations, on the location of Zemun train station, for the purposes of treatment and maintenance of passenger transport rolling stock. It will also be tasked with reconstruction and repair of the existing infrastructure and completing unfinished objects.
