April 28 (SeeNews) - Spanish quick-commerce startup Glovo said on Wednesday that it started operations in two more cities in Bulgaria - Burgas and Stara Zagora, on April 21.
Glovo now operates in five cities across the country, as it is also present in Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv, the company said in a statement.
The company is also due to announce its expansion to more cities in Bulgaria, it said.
Earlier this month, Glovo announced it has raised 450 million euro ($543 million) in its Series F funding round led by New York-based investment managers Lugard Road Capital and the Luxor Capital Group. The company said it plans to invest the fund in expanding its footprint on markets on which it is already present.
