September 5 (SeeNews) - Spanish payment processing solutions provider PayRetailers said on Tuesday that it will open an office in Bulgaria's capital Sofia as part of its expansion strategy.
The initiative aligns with the company's plans to strengthen its presence in Europe and explore global opportunities, PayRetailers said in a press release. Sofia offers a favourable environment for product development, operations and strategic partnerships.
In addition to business growth and regional collaborations, the company aims to hire over 150 people in Sofia over the next six months to reinforce its technological infrastructure.
The new hub will help PayRetailers solidify its international standing and accelerate the development and implementation of digital solutions in its current and future markets, the company said.
Miroslav Bojilov has been appointed as general manager to oversee the company's operations in Bulgaria.
Barcelona-headquartered PayRetailers, founded in 2017, provides global payment processing solutions for transactions in Latin America, where it has nine offices, according to its website.
